Jose and crew are the best. Friendly, fast and take the time to understand where your problems are in geek speak (non-auto). They took in my older Motor home when no one else in the county even wanted to talk to me. I am not sure what costs are for auto repairs, but I felt the price I paid was reasonable, and you get what you pay for. Want it free, go to the parts store and DIY.

Jose and his shop went above and beyond to help us. Sent a tow truck to our dead truck and got to fixing it right away. Got it back the same day with very fair prices. Will be a repeat customer if we need any more help!

Awesome job!! They saved my over 3 grand. I came in for a Check ending code (cylinder 3 mis firing). That job only cost me $240, which sounds about right. Where they saved me over 3 Grand is a ticking noise on the right side of the engine. I found out about the problem months ago from an oil change at a different shop. That shop wanted to tear my engine about and said that it is a major issue. I have a few other shop said that it might just be the lifters and don't worry about it yet. Anyways, I came into Poway Auto Repair for the sparkplug/coil job, the mechanic notice the ticking problem from the lifters too. The funny thing was, at the end of the sparkplug/coil job, the ticking noise went away. Engine running smooth!!!So my $240 job solved more then just one issue :)

Twice I've come to Jose and Poway Auto Repair (in the past couple months) with some kind of gnarly problem with my 2005 Hyundai Tucson. Jose was not able to fix the first issue, but charged me NOTHING for a diagnosis and some back-and-forth estimates and photos from the dealer that I wanted another opinion on. The second time my car needed towing, and to make a long story short, he not only came in $300-500 cheaper than the AAA place but picked up my car with his tow truck on his way in to work, didn't charge a diagnostic fee, and got it done in a day. I don't really know Jose well, but I TRUST this man. Now if you asked me if I have a car guy I'd say, yep!
