Great service, I wish the diagnostics were cheaper

I love this place. It took a long time after I moved here from the northeast before I found someone I felt I could trust.

We went to Poway Auto Repair for the first time based on Yelp reviews and were NOT disappointed. The staff is super friendly, they were able to take our car without an appointment and complete job within same day AND we didn't feel as though they took advantage of us. Would highly recommend this business to friends and local community.

Jose and his employees are always honest, reliable and courteous. I only have my family's cars serviced at Poway Auto Repair.

Jose runs a great shop. I have 2 older Fords (>200K) & this is where I take them. It's great to have a go to auto shop that is honest, does good work & is reasonably priced.

After doing some research I took my 68 Ford Bronco into Poway Auto Repair. I asked for an oil change and a "once over" to see if they spot any problems. I had mentioned some sporadic leaks so I asked for them to look over the entire vehicle to see if they could find any potential problems. They called me and said they found 3 problems and gave me an estimate. When it was ready they said they needed extra time to find the right seals for my transmission. Back in the day a previous owner had upgraded the tranny so Jose and his guys had some work to find the right seal. They took the time and made the effort and found the correct part number. Other mechanics would have told me they fixed it and taken our money, or would have just said it was too much trouble. But here they took the time to make it right.They also discovered that one of the leaks was coming from a different source and since it involved less labor they knocked $400 off the estimate. Another example of honest people. I will bring my Bronco back and recommend Poway Auto Repair to everyone I know.
